no chair for sitting
no bear skin for warmth.
following a stream through cloud draped mountains
riding an ox-cart past turtles and dogs.
heading east in spring, west in autumn
general direction: the Yellow Springs.
evergreens singing at the foot of my bed
dreaming of peaches and roadside flowers.
a curtain of mist obscures the other shore
if only the moon had wings.

when drinking tea --

where did tea come from?
how did it get to you?
what was farmer's name?
did tea have good life on farm?
is tea well groomed?
does tea have pleasant aroma?
is taste just right?
how does tea work with mind?

tea is very big miracle;
appreciate every drop!
